TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
