Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.

Everything in one place, with regulation, website withdrawals, pricing, and here the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
